ChatterKid

We have been using a new App called ChatterKid. 

We have been using it for Reading and retelling stories and recording our voices to hear how we sound (listening to our expressions.)

We have also used ChatterKid as a way of presenting our Story Writing.

S has been persevering and working hard at Taekwondo! He is currently on Yellow stripe, Wahoo S! Ka Pai

T went away over the long weekend and competed in BMX racing. He came away with lots of 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings and this amazing trophy!! 

Room 4 are very proud of both of you!! Keep it up..Tu Meke!

Wahoooo!! And they were off!!

We have been earning money since the start of the term and in our group we purchased items for our car from Miss Lowe's Shop.

1. We talked about what our car will need and what we could use to make it work well.

2. We had to design a car and label everything we needed.

3. We had to look at the prices and quantities we needed and make sure that we had enough money to purchase all of the items- if we didn't we had to change our plan of attack.

4. We brought the items from Miss Lowe's Shop.

5. We created our race cars.

6. Race time and Miss Lowe judged for the 'best looking car'.

Tomorrow we will be racing other classes and looking at all of the other creations. We have had so much fun!
