We have been using our IPads as learning tools. Take a look at some of the ways we use the IPads and their Apps in our amazing classroom, we are a clever bunch! 

We are learning about 'App Smashing'. 
App Smashing is when you use app then take what you have done on that App and use it in another, and so on,  to add different things.

Below are pictures that we created on 'Wordificator'. We read a story and then wrote down all of the key words in Wordificator and waaah lah!

We took pictures from around the classroom and made used PicCollage to create a sentence.

Book Week, Book Week...Read all about it!!

You can borrow a book....but you get to keep all of the ideas.

There is lot's planned for us this week, we drop everything and read after lunch, teacher's from other classrooms visit different classes each day reading a new story, buddy reading with other classes, the book fair,creating a poster for the library telling others how to care for our library books and finally on Friday we will come to school dressed as a character from our favourite story made from recycled things.

The Junior School couldn't believe their eyes on Wednesday morning when they came to school...Where did all the rubbish come from??

This term we have been writing amazing stories!! We have been learning about punctuation and adding more detail to our stories.

We have been learning about our Clive School Mural in the hall and understanding the meaning behind it. Mr Eales spoke to us about the importance of the mural and what it means to as Clive Kids.

We are using these photos to explain who, what, when, and where they happened as we are learning about ourselves and retelling (recount) a time or event.

Clive Kids were lucky to have 2 visitors today, Kim and Ashleigh from NZ Dance Network. We had lots of fun learning new hip hop moves!
